We've incorporated the essential makings of an efficient, rugged e-Gun into one compact package. Thermionics' new RC Series 3kW e-Gun source comes complete with sweep coils. The sweep provides full XY coverage for efficient use of evaporant material. The newly designed emitter assembly can be removed for quick and precise adjustment. Magnetic field adjustments can be made without disassembling; the shunts can be added or removed externally.
The new RC series is designed to fit most existing coating systems. Custom flange-mount assemblies are also available.
Compatible with Thermionics' model 150-0030 and 150-0040 power supplies, these sources can directly replace most old-model Thermionics and Varian-labeled 2kW and 3kW sources. The RC series is compatible with our PSC-600 programmable sweep controller or the time-proven XYS sweep controllers. A full line of crucible liners and other accessories are also available.
