Electrical Feedthroughs

FMC Series Medium Current Electrical Feedthroughs

These feedthroughs are used in a variety of applications where a significant amount of power is to be transferred into a vacuum system. The feedthrough conductors are constructed of OFE copper and are available in two styles, solid and hollow tube. The tube option allows for water cooling or special coaxial construction.

Available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 conductor with 2.75" OD flange and single conductor with 1.33" OD flange.

  • Maximum current:
    • 150 A solid 1/4" (rod)
    • 10 A 1/4" (tube - 0.032 wall)
  • Maximum voltage: 5,000 V
  • Temperature Range: -200°C to 450°C
  • Requires PMC-150 connectors

FHC Series High Current Electrical Feedthroughs

These feedthroughs provide high current path to the vacuum chamber. The conductors are constructed of OFE copper and are available in water cooled and solid conductor models.

  • Maximum current: 600 A
    1,600 A (water cooled)
  • Maximum voltage: 3,000 V (below 10-4 Torr)
  • 2.75" O.D flange
  • Temperature Range: -200°C to 450°C
  • Requires CMC-150 connectors

FHV Series High Voltage Electrical Feedthroughs

The FHV series feedthroughs provides HV access to the vacuum chamber. They include single or dual conductor models with mating exterior connector.

Instrumentation Feedthroughs

Instrumentation feedthroughs provide UHV feedthrough access for a variety of cable types. The 304SS conductors have a maximum current rating of 3 amps.

FEP Multi-Conductor Instrumentation Feedthroughs

FEP series feedthroughs provide UHV feedthrough access for multi-conductor instrumentation. All units are supplied with external connector and ceramic interior spacer (except 8 tube).

All FEP conductors are rated at 500 VAC or 700 VDC with a maximum current rating of 7 amps per solid pin and 2 amps per tubular pin.

Thermocouple Instrumentation Feedthroughs

FETC series feedthroughs provide UHV feedthrough access for thermocouple instrumentation. All units are supplied with external connectors.

Standard FETC series feedthroughs are supplied with a 1.33" OD mounting flange and are available with 1 or 2 thermocouple pairs.
